**About the role**
- Works in collaboration with the VP, Proposals to grow proposal team capabilities, talent, work, processes, tools and systems to improve the quality of our product and the efficiency of delivery.
- Provides oversight, support and day to day management to regional proposal teams to optimize utilization.
- Demonstrates leadership and team development by providing guidance, coaching and mentoring to the proposal teams in the proposal process and proposal strategic concepts.
- Proactively monitors and understands the health of proposals/pursuits in the organization, and when appropriate, act as a brainstorm facilitator, reviewer or editor for proposals.
- Leads and supports capture and win planning as well as presentation preparation for identified clients and opportunities.
- Ensures that the proposal process is applied, and all mandatory steps and forms are completed for all pursuits.
- Helps to educate the organization on our proposal process through formal and informal training, as well as on-the-job coaching during major/strategic pursuits.
- Collects company data or conducts internal/external research for opportunity response documents, strategy development, and/or for support of pursuit efforts.
- Develops, prepares and maintains non-opportunity specific/additional sales qualification and reference materials (including résumés, project descriptions and organization charts) in designated information management systems.
- Assists with developing innovative solutions, or leveraging the corporate network to identify existing capabilities, that address client challenges and create a distinctive competitive advantage.
- Conducts client, competitor and market research, as required in support of client and/or opportunity strategy development and provides corresponding analysis.
- Develops appropriate network within the company to facilitate identification and sharing of relevant information, best practices, etc. between offices.
- Manages and works as part of the team to deliver large/strategic proposals and highly complex bids that may cross multiple offices, business lines, be joint ventures, or be large in value.
- Ensures adherence to standards and templates to present a consistent appearance/style aligned to our brand requirements.
- Develops an understanding of our corporate, regional and office qualifications including technical, managerial, commercial and competitive strengths that differentiate Ausenco in the marketplace.
- Leads by example to promote Ausenco’s values.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**About you**
- 10+ years of experience providing proposal or project coordination. Experience within a professional services firm is a bonus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications with MBA (preferred).
- Critical thinker: able to pose relevant questions to enable completion of low-definition tasks.
- High tolerance for working under pressure, handling multiple tasks with strict deadlines while maintaining focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English (and other languages, as applicable).
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent team player and able to work collaboratively with others.
- An assertive, cooperative, and effective communicator (written and verbal).
- Reliable, hands-on team player.
- Must be self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
