**SENIORITY LEVEL**:entry-level managerial - no direct reports

**FUNCTION**: Finance

**LOCATION**:Santiago,** **Chile

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

We are searching for a dedicated demand planner to ensure our company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will assist in all demand planning duties including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory/sales flow, and developing forecast models.

Keeping up with the demand for a product is critical, because failing to do so can result in lost revenue for the product or, even worse, lost customers. One the main goals of demand planning is to have just the right amount of inventory to meet customer demand without incurring shortages or wasting money on making and storing surplus inventory.

**Reports to **:Demand Planning Manager Chile and Argentina

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Successfully communicate sales forecast estimations & trends to management.
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**
- Do you have recent experience in Demand Forecast?
- Do you have knowledge in sales?
- Are you familiar with forecast models and S&OP process?

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- 2 - 3 of experience in sales/demand planning/forecasting role in FMCGs business.
- Forecasting accuracy
- Microsoft Excel and strong analytic competence
- Solid understanding of sales/demand planning practices and procedures.
- Strong mathematical knowledge.
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong Leadership Skills to influence business decisions through robust data analysis and concise storytelling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Collaboration & communication
- Fluent in English (written and verbal B2 or B2+)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or other relevant fields
