**About Data Analytics (DA)**
Data Analytics is one of the highest growth practices within Evalueserve, providing you rewarding career opportunities. **What you will be doing at Evalueserve**
- Providing technical leadership for all aspects of database management such as database lifecycle management, monitoring, support, disaster recovery, compliance, and standards.
- Researching new Oracle database versions, features, tools, and technologies with an Enterprise perspective to meet customer needs while maintaining a secure database environment.
- Researching, benchmarking, and suggesting improvements to database support processes, customer experience (CX) improvements, and compliance requirements.
- Providing 3rd and 4th level cloud (Oracle, SQL Server, etc) database support for complex issues.
- Participating in and managing database related projects, database security patching audits, and compliance reviews and testing.
- Developing new and updating existing database technology related documentation as needed
- Participating on customer driven and Division/department projects.
- Working with a geographically distributed team
- Acting in a self-directed manner, independently researching tools/libraries/technologies or solving a problem with mínimal oversight and instruction
**What we're looking for**
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Expert in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
- Advanced knowledge of scripting languages (shell, Perl, emcli)
- Advanced knowledge of SQL
- Database Lifecycle Management (DBLM)
- Oracle Fleet Management module to deploy automated patching
- Oracle Database Administration skills managing Oracle database versions 12c and 19c
- Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
- Manual database patching and database upgrades
- Installing Oracle release updates (RU) security patches on data guard, multitenant, stand alone and Real Application Cluster (RAC) databases
- Database performance management and database hardware configuration
- Linux / UNIX operating systems (RedHat and AIX)
- Aware of cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Aware of IT Service Management (ITSM) & Root cause analysis (RCA) processes
- Aware of database security threats and security best practices
