**Introduction**
The IBM Client Engineering Solution Architect is accountable for developing technical solutions in support of Proofs of Experience (PoX). They work closely with the other technical roles to ensure the feasibility of the solution and to continually evolve the solution as required. Solution Architects develop deep knowledge in one or two technology domains and maintain broad understanding across our entire software portfolio and hybrid cloud platforms.
**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Can articulate broadly IBM strategy and offerings
- Provides solution guidance across hybrid cloud platforms (IBM, Red Hat and dominate public cloud brands)
- Deep knowledge with a single brand domain and ability to solution generally across all in-focus IBM brands within one or more industry
- Partners with the Account Technical Leader to unearth, plan, design, and deliver Proofs of Experience (PoX)
- Perform a leadership role within the Client Engineering team to facilitate co-creation and joint development between client and IBM
- Clearly articulate architecture, technology and process best-practices across IBM and customer teams
- Identify opportunities through discovery and strategic exercises where IBM well-known (and in some case couture) PoX solutions can be applied that result in new software sales / adoption
- Drive more agile solutions that can be applied with greater velocity and better client outcomes
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Demonstrable expertise across Generative AI platforms and tools.
- Proven excellence in leading customer-facing technical solutions teams and facilitating experiential problem discovery, framing and solutioning sessions.
- Experience with Agile best practices to deliver complex technology projects on time including extreme programming, paired programming, scrum, and test-driven development.
- First-class communication and presentation skills, with ability to instill 'trusted advisor' confidence and credibility, from coders to the c-suite.
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Demonstrable expertise across a broad range of hybrid cloud technologies, Kubernetes, Docker, Containers, Cyber Security, Red Hat OpenShift and IBM Cloud Paks.
