Marketing Manager, Strategic Partnerships & Events

The Marketing Manager (MM) Strategic Partnerships and Events supports the US national strategic alliances & events marketing program. The MM is responsible for helping to develop national marketing alliance & event strategies, ensuring national marketing programs are successfully executed, assessing performance and communicating results. The MM is a role with an audience, scale and visibility that require strong project planning and execution.

This role is responsible for:

- Supporting ongoing and developing new national alliance programs and initiatives across the US
- Collaborating closely with other teams at Robert Half including Business Communications, Social Media, Sales Enablement, Legal, Procurement, Creative and Field Marketing
- Acting as a point of contact/communication for executive and senior management team
- Ensuring that each practice has a national alliance strategy and robust, innovative, creative and tailored marketing program
- Create and manage project plans, budget and timelines for alliance partner initiatives.
- Assist with negotiations related to contracts, sponsorship levels and pricing.
- Ensuring that partnerships and events positively impact core business objectives: contacts, leads, revenue and brand awareness. Also ensuring that we are engaging, converting and retaining contacts.
- Ensuring that national marketing programs and strategies are communicated to the field, and successfully executed/adopted
- Developing and maintaining strong relationship with alliance partners and event organizers
- Managing national alliance activities including social media, advertising, e-blasts, promotion and events.
- Ensuring that the language, tone and content of national alliance marketing matches Robert Half brand standards.
- Responsible for the coordination of event logistics and planning, registering for events, field staff coordination, marketing materials, tradeshow displays either in person or virtual, coordination with show vendors and event organizers.
- Responsible for post-event ROI analysis - including data collection, reporting and developing recommendations for future marketing opportunities.
- Responsible for ongoing research and subsequent recommendations on strategies for improving ROI for our national alliances and event program, including analyzing competitor strategies and investigating new and emerging event/marketing opportunities that align with our target audience and goals.

Role Requirements:

- 6+ years of experience working for a large, publicly listed company in a communication or marketing role.
- Experience managing projects on a national scope and/or working with national organizations a plus
- Experience in the technology field and/or working for a technology organization a plus
- Excellent strategic thinking skills and experience driving strategy and setting goals
- Proven expertise developing promotional, brand & lead generating opportunities that deliver maximum value ROI and meet business objectives
- Experience owning communication with stakeholders and providing advice, recommendations and counsel to senior leadership.
- Expert in building relationships and partnership that are trusted and valued with peers and other teams and leaders withing the business
- A persuasive influencer who has the ability to build consensus and momentum
- Superb written, verbal, and interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Adept at leveraging social and digital platforms for communication and marketing goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or related discipline
