**Responsibilities**:
- Accountable for the product offering across the lifecycle of flotation consumables within the Mining Industry, including: offering portfolio, tools & reporting. Assists with go to market strategy for flotation consumables in collaboration with regional teams. Flotation consumables includes WEMCO, Dorr Oliver, NextSTEP, and other legacy rotors, stators, sectors, dart valves and grommets. Experience with flotation operations or maintenance and digital or smart flotation products would be looked upon favourably.- To provide in-depth technical support to the FLSmidth sales and service teams to build the flotation media business in both new business markets and increasing aftermarket market share globally. Manage the global supply chain and manufacturing to deliver quality product on time. Develop business and partnerships with customers, suppliers and organisations to improve the product business model. To develop tools and products to proactively improve client operational efficiency; trouble shoot client technical problems and support the development of the technical competence of the local sales and service teams; and contribute strongly to the overall company result, culture and development.- Sales and business development - sales development, partnerships, customers, sales training, pricing, cost, marketing.- Technology and new product development including R&D support, trials, ideation and innovation.- Supply chain and manufacturing support for internal and external manufacturing, vendor selection and development, improvement in polyurethane and rubber production technology, lead time and cost estimation and improvement.- Ensure product design is maintained to international standards and the quality of the product is consistently premium and never compromised, whilst ensuring a focus on ‘Safety First’ and- Liaise with regional sales and proposals teams (to develop proposals that addresses client’s needs, concerns and objectives) and with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.- Participate in internal and external client debriefs.- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the product offering’s unique selling propositions and differentiators eg. wear improvements and digitilisation of products.- Production operations management and quality control- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM System.- Forecast sales targets and support the sales team in meeting these targets.- Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.

What you bring- Bachelor degree in relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.- At least 10 years within the mineral processing industry, preferably with product management focus, or flotation operations/maintenance- At least 5 years’ experience in a technical specialist role with a demonstrable success in developing sustainable solutions to support the sales effort to increase market share and maximizing client productivity and efficiency using our flotation products.- Relevant, direct experience with flotation or separation technologies- A high level of understanding of mining wear solutions will be highly regarded specifically polyurethane and rubber manufacturing processes.- Metallurgical flotation operation and service/maintenance/reliability experience looked upon highly.- Knowledge and experience in elastomer manufacturing or wear materials science- Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships and credibility both internally and with external clients with strong customer service skills.- Demonstrated business acumen to develop realistic business plans with stretch targets and the clear plan to reach those targets.- Experienced utilizing ERP database systems is desired i.e.. Oracle, Citrix / Epicor, SAP or similar systems- Advanced English- Travel - _Regular global travel is expected in this role, up to 50 % time. Volumes will vary based on the requirements of the role.
