**About the right team member**:
The ServiceNow Developer provides solution design using industry best practices to scale the ServiceNow platform for Mindbody. This position will build a highly effective ITSM platform to enable our IT, P&C and Product teams to effectively deliver services, software and technology the wide Mindbody org. You will help the team discover creative and sustainable ways to solve business challenges and improve our ITSM capabilities and functionality.

**About the role**:

- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the ServiceNow platform
- Participate in code reviews for ongoing projects and system enhancements, to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used
- Execute test plans to ensure quality solutions are delivered
- Communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
- Ensure effective management of system releases and proactive communications for ServiceNow
- Ensure compliance objectives and change management objectives met for ServiceNow
- Manage our ITSM related vendors
- Develops the business case process and KPI's, metrics for ITSM investments and identify improvement opportunities
- Work closely within IT to ensure alignment of strategic goals for technical delivery teams
- Manage third partner contractors in addition to the analysts to deliver on the work
- Rationalize prioritization of ITSM initiatives based on organization(s) needs/strategy, IT workload and budget
- Analyze long term requirements and make recommendations and proposals for implementing technology strategies
- All other duties as assigned

**Skills & experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science or related discipline, or equivalent related experience
- Requires 5+ years of internal/external IT experience, with previous experience administrating and developing solutions for the ServiceNow Platform
- Experience successfully leading large, complex projects and/or in business/IT Consulting roles
- Demonstrated experience/in-depth knowledge of the business requirements analysis and IT processes
- Large-scale/enterprise end-to-end business process architecture experience
- Success with business process mapping experience, experience with business process analysis
- Skilled at technical leadership and delivery
- Experience with ITSM (IT service management) methodologies
- Track record of having implemented, enhanced, and supported an enterprise-class technology ITSM systems, including planning, analysis and design, configuration, development, data migrations, system testing, cutover planning, and production support
- Proven track record building strong relationships and influencing in the absence of authority
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, including written, documentation, verbal, and presentation skills
- Related ServiceNow Admin and Developer Certifications desired
- Excellent knowledge on design principles and best practices in system design and support methodologies
- Experience with ServiceNow Automation Engine, creating workflows
- Experience creating and monitoring KPI's and Metrics
- Experience building and utilizing integrations to ServiceNow from other IT/Business Systems
- At least 2 years of experience implementing a specific ServiceNow module such as CMDB, HR, Service Portal, ITOM and REST integrations
- Working knowledge of at least 2 years' experience writing JavaScript code
- Experience with ServiceNow version control and update sets
- Previous experience mentoring others and conducting peer reviews
