**About the Role**:
As Principal Hosting Autonomy, you will play a key role on supporting the study and delivery of the projects under the autonomy program for Minerals Americas Copper assets. Reporting to the Manager Material Handling you will lead a team of engineers to generate the required designs and documentation needed to deliver the hosting infrastructure that will enable the autonomy program. In this role, you will:

- Drive your team to reliably deliver team results and meet deadlines.
- Generate a team culture of continuous improvement and leading change.
- Lead a technical team to generate technical documentation required to deliver hosting infrastructure and virtualization environments required by the autonomy program.
- Design target state solution architecture that meets technical, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Provide expert advice on the solution architecture of vendor solutions and it’s alignment to BHP standards, in order to select the most appropriate alternative.
- Provide technical support to other project teams within BHP.
- Communicate solution design to a wide range of business and technology groups and stakeholders.
- Approach opportunities and problems from a business-first mindset.
- Accountable of the final release of the technical documents, for purchase and construction.

**About You**:
Requirements for success:

- Bachelor or higher Engineer degrees from STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) schools. Computer Science degree is a plus.
- 7+years of experience in leading teams for engineering and delivery of infrastructure projects.
- English level intermediate.
- Experience of Virtualization platforms (desirable VMware) and Microsoft Active Directory.
- Desirable experience in public cloud into traditional hosting/delivery models using AWS or Azure.
- Desirable experience Cybersecurity to help develop and evolve the company's security strategy.
