The Director, New and Retained Business Development, will provide strong leadership and stewardship over two of IB’s critically important sales channels: New Business Development and Retained Business (Tiers 3-5), situated in the National Accounts (NAC) organization. The ideal leader will serve as the chief architect of developing a vision for sustainable and profitable new business acquisition and balancing the need to continue pursuing aggressive growth opportunities with the existing portfolio of customers.
Primary objective is to capture IB’s fair share of new business, providing strategic and tactical thought leadership in charting a new, creative and innovative course for profitable growth. Charged with balancing continued growth of the 1MM+ unit retention portfolio-and deliver aggressive growth in new business development (6M unit pipeline). Two separate and distinct teams, that mesh together to unleash breakthrough growth. The role will report into the VP, National Accounts.

Additional Responsibilities
Work with Account Management team to understand market conditions, opportunities, and potential program enhancements
Collaborate with Sales Enablement team to ensure Account Managements have effective tools and programs to drive account growth
Ensure Account Management team is leveraging Sales Enablement generated materials to support profitable account growth
Work closely with Sales Enablement and Center of Excellence team to identify, develop, and implement necessary tools to support profitable account growth
Oversee Account segmentation and Account Management assignment for new accounts
Identify Training and Development needs for Account Management team
Support on-boarding of new Account Managers
Ensure continuous improvement of best practices to facilitate exceptional customer service and drive profitable account growth
Work collaboratively with IB cross-functional partners (Finance, Revenue Management, Partner Results, Supply Chain/Demand Planning, Marketing) and within NAC Team (Category Management, Channel Marketing, Field Activation, Customer Care and Testing & Charging Teams).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
4+ years B2B/Commercial sales experience required
Top performer, award winner
Outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service and business development skills
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple opportunities
Competent in the Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Ability to work and travel independently on a sustained basis
Self-motivated
Acceptable driving record
