We are hiring the best talent for a **Medical Affairs Manager **to be located in Buenos Aires, Argentina or Santiago de Chile (Relocation Not Applicable).

**Purpose**:
This function will be responsible for support the developing and managing the clinical strategies and information behind the J&J Medical products and procedures from all the franchises in the region.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- This position will be active part of the Copy Review team and responsible for evaluating internal and external materials. As well, will support Quality and Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Safety providing scientific information about products and procedures.
- The Medical Affairs Manager will be responsible to establish relationship with Key Opinion Leaders, Medical Associations and Regulatory bodies (Government).
- This person must support the sales force training locally, developing clinical strategies and implementing it in each cluster according to the prioritization process for products and procedures for business purposes.
- This position will establish with the team an effective communication strategy for all the compliance policies of J&J and the Medical Affairs role in the company.
- This function will be responsible for managing all the clinical evidence-based information behind the J&J Medical products and procedures from all the franchises in the sub-region.
- This includes to build up dossiers based on investigation through search and analysis in worldwide literature (EBM synthesis) as well as the development of EBM documents to support the products, and strategies.
- The Medical Affairs Manager will participate in the design, development and/or implementation of clinical trials, sponsored by J&J or Investigator Initiated Studies.
- This function includes development, adaptation and analysis of clinical guidelines, clinical indicators, clinical inputs of a disease management project, where the products and procedures are involved.
- Teamwork with local and Regional Franchises leaders, Marketing, HEOR and Strategic Solutions teams.

**Qualifications**

**Qualifications**:

- Education level: MD + Medical Residency / Specialty. MBA/Master’s degree and/or PhD is preferred. Surgery (General, Bariatrics, Colorectal, Oncological) / Orthopedics is a plus.
- Years of experience: Minimum of 3 years in Pharma / Medical Devices industry or R&D/CRO. Managerial positions in hospital/healthcare is highly preferred.
