**The Position**
You will execute the public affairs strategy in accordance with the subsidiary's overall business plan to shape public policy and create an enabling business
environment that supports patient access.
Network with key stakeholders such as patient associations, medical societies, decision makers, and academia.
Contribute to the development of knowledge, skills and ideas on public affairs within the subsidiary.

**Main responsibilities**
- Implement the public affairs strategy according to affiliate business plan and ensure that all activities are conducted according to business ethics and compliance policies
- Implement public affairs initiatives to elevate our therapeutic areas on the political agendaSupport opportunities for policy development or change related to Novo Nordisk disease areas and patient access
- Monitor and analyse how policies and trends impact Novo Nordisk, demonstrating this in project work by incorporating insights from the external environment where appropriate
- Implement stakeholder engagement activities that support NN priorities in collaboration with internal and external partners, providers and agencies
- Supports other departments with execution of relevant MAPA initiatives; Develop disease awareness activities and material to support Novo Nordisk disease areas priorities

**Qualifications**
- University degree is preferable on the following areas: Political Science or Health Care Professional
- English & Spanish Fluency, written and spoken
- At least 3 years in a similar position or Market Access & Public Affairs, Patient Advocacy or Medical Affairs functions within pharmaceutical industry
- Market Access Insights & Influence
- Demonstrates a robust understanding of healthcare system and market access dynamics. Applies this knowledge to shape efforts and priorities. Fosters a market access mind-set, driving active collaboration throughout the organisation and stakeholders

**About the Department**
At Novo Nordisk Chile our purpose is to promote changes to defeat diabetes and other serious chronic diseases such as obesity, rare blood and endocrine diseases. We do this by pioneering scientific advancement, expanding access to our medicines, and working to prevent and ultimately cure the diseases we treat.
