This is an exciting role designed to support the development of our nursing workforce and enhance the quality of care delivered to our most acutely ill patients. Our Service Comprises 10-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) 8-bed Surgical High Dependency Unit (HDU) 8-bed Medical High Dependency Unit (HDU) We provide specialist care for critically ill patients across Fife, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and person‑centred care. As Clinical Nurse Educator, You Will Lead on the development and delivery of education and training for Critical Care nursing staff. Align practice with national strategies and standards, ensuring evidence‑based care. Support staff in achieving competency frameworks and professional development goals. Drive innovation in learning, using modern educational approaches and technology. Act as a clinical role model, promoting best practice and patient safety. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced nurse who: Is a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration. Has recent experience in Critical Care. Demonstrates a passion for education and staff development. Possesses excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Holds or is working towards a relevant teaching/education qualification (e.g., PGCert in Clinical Education). Part time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected. A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
