Overview Join as a Critical Care Clinical Educator (JE) within the Critical Care Unit at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. The unit comprises a 10‑bed Intensive Care Unit, an 8‑bed Surgical High Dependency Unit and an 8‑bed Medical High Dependency. The role is full‑time, 37 hours per week, predominantly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend duty charge nurse shifts. Responsibilities Manage and deliver education and staff development across the critical care team. Act as an expert resource, providing clinical counsel to staff. Lead efforts to implement, evaluate and identify evidence‑based practice. Deliver staff‑specific education and patient education programmes. Promote excellence in nursing as a role model and resource. Qualifications Registered nurse with significant intensive and critical care experience. Minimum five years post‑registration professional practice in critical care. Postgraduate qualifications in teaching or emergency medicine nursing, or equivalent experience. Educated to master’s degree level or able to demonstrate working at that level in this clinical area.
