The Demand Planning Lead - Chile is responsible for generating and obtaining market sign-off on the most reliable forecasts possible for all products in Chile. This involves coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver inputs, make business decisions, and agree on volumes based on quality data analysis.

Furthermore, this role provides the visibility required for improving supply and financial planning processes, aiming to optimize inventory levels, avoid write-offs, and improve customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the process of generating forecasts as the core activity in the IBP process.
  • Validate business performance monthly and make decisions to achieve commercial objectives, integrated with Finance.
  • Manage end-to-end demand forecasting (both volume and value) across all Consumer Healthcare categories to improve forecast accuracy and customer service levels.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to close sales gaps as needed.
  • Define key forecasting roles and accountabilities to align Sales, Marketing, Category, and Finance functions, promoting transparency and functional accountability.
  • Establish and embed demand forecasting processes to support the Supply Chain Operating model and Core Commercial Cycle.
  • Manage demand forecasting input into key IBP meetings, including Demand Review and Supply Review.
  • Develop technical and IT capabilities to support statistical modeling and integrate existing forecast platforms, enhancing forecast accuracy.

  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, or related areas.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like Power BI.
