Technical Business Manager — Aquaculture (Salmon) - Puerto Montt Location: Puerto Montt, Los Lagos Region, Chile (on-site) Company: Global, fast-growing provider of innovative solutions for the salmon industry About the role We are seeking a commercially driven veterinarian (DVM) with deep aquaculture expertise—specifically in salmon farming—to lead and consolidate our business in Chile. This role combines technical authority with business growth: you will represent the company in the local aquaculture market, drive commercial strategy and execution, strengthen our brand, and build strategic relationships across the salmon value chain. Key responsibilities Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the Chilean aquaculture market (salmon focus), aligned with global objectives. Build and maintain strategic relationships with salmon producers, distributors, and other key stakeholders. Oversee local operations and coordinate closely with the international team to ensure robust execution and customer success. Identify new business opportunities, develop markets, and launch new products/solutions. Represent the company at industry events, technical seminars, and with strategic clients. Track performance (pipeline, revenue, margins) and continually optimize go-to-market activities. Must-have Requirements (strict) Veterinarian (DVM) degree—mandatory. Proven, hands‑on experience in the aquaculture industry (salmon farming)—mandatory; applicants from other industries will not be considered. Technical depth in at least one of the following: fish nutrition, fish health, or feed additives—required. Bilingual English (full professional proficiency) and fluent Spanish. Based in the Los Lagos Region (Puerto Montt) or willing to relocate. Desired profile Strong commercial drive, result orientation, and growth mindset.
