Our product We are currently focused on helping salmon farmers better understand their fish population and make environmentally sound decisions. Through custom underwater cameras, computer vision, and machine learning we are able to quantify fish weights, detect the health status, and generate optimal feeding plans in real time. Our product operates at three levels: on‑site hardware for image capture, cloud pipelines for data processing, and a user‑facing web application. As a result, there are hundreds of moving pieces and no shortage of fascinating challenges across all levels of the stack. Above all, Aquabyte is a customer‑driven company. The role Aquabyte is looking for a Sales Manager to contribute to the company's commercial growth in Chile. This role will be responsible for driving the company’s strengthening relationships with existing customers, and identifying new business opportunities. The Sales Manager will play a key role in connecting Aquabyte’s data‑driven technology with the operational and strategic needs of salmon producers. Responsibilities Driving sales strategy and revenue growth Managing client relationships directly Overseeing commercial negotiations and contracts Manage some of the existing customers and consolidating long‑term relationships Prospect and capture new clients by identifying business opportunities across the salmon farming value chain Develop and execute consultative sales processes, aligning customer needs with Aquabyte’s technological solutions Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, proposal, implementation, and post‑sales support, collections, ensuring clear and timely communication Maintain updated administrative documentation and commercial reports Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Business Administration, Aquaculture Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
