About the Company

Boutique Travel Experts (BTE) is an award-winning independent tour operator, founded in 2018 in London. The small team is specialized in tailor-made premium holidays, offering an exceptional level of service. In 2024 the company won the Best Luxury Travel Company award. At BTE, responsible travel is at the core of the business and the team knows their destinations inside out.

The Role:

Boutique Travel Experts is currently seeking creative travel enthusiasts to join their friendly team, being particularly interested in such destinations as Chile . You can be based anywhere in Japan or abroad, but as long as you fit within the following criteria - you are a good candidate for BTE.

Duties:

  • Create website content, including sample itineraries and general travel advice
  • Contact hotels, transport and activity providers and agree business terms
  • Respond to customer enquiries (max within 4 hours)
  • Design personalized travel itineraries
  • Administer confirmed bookings from the start till the end
  • Prepare the social media marketing

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Has deep passion and extensive knowledge about Chile's culture, gastronomy, history obtained from personal travels
  • Has a background in hospitality, tourism, customer service, luxury brands
  • Understands the importance of responsible and sustainable travel
  • Is a good listener and has a 'can-do' attitude
  • ESSENTIAL: fluent English language skills are required both for written and oral communication
  • Shows exceptional attention to details
  • Must have a reliable internet connection and a desktop computer (this job cannot be done from the smartphone only)
  • Apply your Chile travel knowledge and open the potential for uncapped earnings (fully commission-based). Do not apply if you are looking for a regular salary-based position.
