YOUR OPPORTUNITY

A truly unique role combining the opportunity to influence SOCO decisions through the optimization of brand investments that will result in superior brand performance and provide strategic financial support to the commercial and marketing team.

On the one hand you will be involved in regional strategic planning discussions, resource allocation modelling, innovation, P&Ls & management of brand A&P budgets. On the other, you will be responsible to deliver SOCO P&L targets and work closely with LT to improve profitability and sustainable growth.

About You

You must be Fearless to challenge & influence decision making across SOCO, mixing the detail & bigger picture to identify opportunities for growth in line with strategy & M&E process.

You must demonstrate a Founder's mentality, balancing brand & commercial priorities to help us achieve the best results with our brands, to help SOCO beat our dynamic plan.

As a member of the SOCO Family, you will be required to interface with your key client groups to fulfil your role. As such, you may be required to travel within your geography to stay connected to all stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With Our Consumer At The Heart Your Key Focus Will Be:

P&L (DBC) Management:

  1. Support Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) for SOCO region identifying risks, and opportunities.
  2. Provide Monthly review YTD YTG FY Budget/LE for sufficiency.
  3. Perform and communicate regular Gap analysis versus targets and bring ideas to the team how to mitigate risks.

Brand/Category Strategies:

  1. Provide support to marketing team controlling advertising and promotional budget.
  2. Ensure financial investments are aligned with Category / Brand strategy.
  3. Foster a culture of Measurement and Evaluation to drive efficiency and effectiveness on brand investment.

Innovation:

  1. Manage the financials for Innovation.
  2. Support the commercial teams in understanding and implementing the commercial initiatives and IAP priorities.

Accounting process:

  1. Manage and control accrual process for A&P and discount expenses across markets.
  2. Control structure cost expenses across markets guaranteeing accounting policies.
  3. Support the A&P measurement system from the accounting based to activity based/driven analysis.
  4. Ensure controls are in place around delivery and effectiveness of performance.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The Skills And Experience Needed To Create Your Legacy:

  1. Experience in financial/ strategic analysis analytical skills. At least 3-5 years' experience.
  2. Strong communication, influencing & collaboration skills required in order to achieve results across the organisation.
  3. Comfortable organizing & prioritizing multiple deliverables & resource constraints to optimize results.
  4. Fluent in English written and spoken.
