Crystal Reports Developer Position Overview : We are looking for a Crystal Reports Developer with strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex reports using Crystal Reports (2016 and latest versions) . The ideal candidate will have expertise in integrating reports with various data sources, optimizing performance, and ensuring accuracy and usability of reporting solutions. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, create efficient reporting solutions, and support production environments. Technical Skill Set Crystal Reports (2016 and latest versions) SSRS BIRT Gupta Report Builder 2005 Databases SQL Server Languages SQL, PL/SQL Basic scripting for report customization DevOps Tools Azure, AWS (for deployment and integration) Agile Tools JIRA, Confluence, Teams, Git, Mural Responsibilities As part of the Infosys delivery team, your primary role would be to interface with the client for quality assurance, issue resolution, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Understand reporting requirements, create and review report designs, validate data sources, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Develop, maintain, and optimize Crystal Reports for various business needs. Execute projects using Agile methodology. Provide production support for reports, including Level 2 and Level 3 support, diagnose root causes, and implement fixes. Monitor and release patches, bug fixes, and minor enhancements for reporting solutions. Document technical architecture of reporting systems and workflows. Define and document best practices for report development, deployment, and maintenance. Participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, conduct technical risk planning, and perform report reviews. Lead and guide teams toward developing optimized, high-quality reporting solutions, ensuring adherence to organizational guidelines and processes. Skills Strong experience in Crystal Reports development and maintenance. Ability to analyze user requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions. In-depth knowledge of report design principles and best practices. Solid understanding of SQL and database structures. Familiarity with SDLC methods, preferably Agile. Ability to debug and optimize existing reports for performance and accuracy. Experience implementing automated testing for reports and validating data integrity.
