Job Description DevOps Environments Our main areas are: Troubleshooting - HTTP - examples of issue resolution via troubleshooting a system - Most critically Microsoft Internet Information Services / .NET Applications Windows / Linux experience (Admin) - examples of administering OS; Primarily Windows; Proficiency with Linux Web Hosting / Deployment Experience (IaaS &/or Container) - (MSFT IIS, K8S, Docker, AKS) - examples & scenarios of proven support Scripting Solutions- Any examples/ any language (Ps, ansible, bash) Teaming/Multi-Tasker/Team Player- Must enjoy & be ready to collaborate 'daily' ; Good communicator; On a Google Hangout; Minimum with Audio, - Video Recommended- (team meetings at minimum for video) Documentation writing exp - examples of what was provided and impact of the documenting process Job Description-DevOps Admin / Application Admin : Crucial: Ability to work with other teams & resources effectively in delivering projects to completion. Mandatory Experience: Windows administration MSFT IIS administration & troubleshooting, support DevOps/CICD (Azure DevOps) - Azure pipeline (YAML) setup, HashiCorp Vault Configuration, Artifactory JFrog Repo (or similar DevOps systems) Troubleshooting HTTP Data/Communication path integrations between applications SSL/TLS certificate management Valuable preferred experience: PowerShell or other scripting language experience (with proven time & cost saving solutions / results via automation) MS SQL Server proficiency (SQL queries) Cloud Experience - Environment Infrastructure / Hosting Knowledge (Azure, AWS, etc.) Linux admin experience (support & troubleshooting) Containerization Hosting Experience - Implementation / Support (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure AKS) Container Admin_Management Toolsets - (Rancher, Rafay, Other) Extra Credit: Ansible/AWX - Playbook writing Powershell Scripting Or *nix Shell Scripting Elasticsearch RabbitMQ Redis Splunk Kafka Hashicorp Vault Git - Github Documentation writing (Confluence, Jira, Sharepoint) Expected Responsibilities (General): Address & action break/fix tickets via Servicenow queue Participate as application/DevOps lead for new application projects (lower environments) Participate on a ‘Collaboration Chat Channel’ - verbal (oral), and/or video channel ‘daily’ (as needed) to keep in sync as a virtual office highly performing team Doc Updating / Maintaining (for new versions) Application Support - Attend all scheduled 'pre - release' version meetings which is an initial discussion for new version specifics Ensure assigned deployment docs are current Ensure assigned network diagrams are current Azure DevOps Pipeline configuration mapping Requests_Log (ServiceNow tickets, FW rules (RFCs), Other RFCs & requests) Create positive & productive working relationship with customer teams & project mgrs Work with Dev Teams, DBAs, and other infrastructure teams to create 'post deploy smoke tests' for all new components / versions as necessary, along with other requirements - Ansible Playbooks, write ps scripts, etc Will be assigned as Subject Matter Expert on various applications, thus will take action as ‘primary on-point’ for these requests/tickets/projects sent to our team. Participate in the “Application Release Review Highlights” - Territory Presentations to discuss requirements of your assigned applications with Global Territories & Teams.
