OVERVIEW We are looking for translators with experience in translating patents from English into Spanish (native-level fluency of Spanish) with immediate availability for our patent translation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in translating and proofreading patents, specifically in the fields of Electricity, Computer Science, and Mechanics. Project Details: Job Title: English into Spanish (LatAm) Patent Translator Start Date: ASAP Location: Remote Content Type: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electricity, Mechanics Expected Weighted Volume Per Week: words CAT Tool: XTM Employment Type: Freelance Main Duties Translate patent-related content from English into Spanish, preserving the original meaning and ensuring it is readable and understandable to the target audience. Follow instructions for the translation process, CAT tool usage, and other relevant guidelines. Communicate effectively and respond promptly in English. Requirements Minimum two years' experience translating and reviewing content in the patent fields. Native fluency in Spanish. Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience. Able to translate, copy edit, and perform MTPE, QC, and LQA.
