Job Description del Chief of Staff (CoS) en Compara


El Chief of Staff trabajará codo a codo con el CEO de Compara, desempeñándose como asesor de confianza y confidente.

Desde esa posición tendrá el objetivo de aumentar significativamente la productividad del CEO y consecuentemente, de la compañía.

Adicionalmente, el CoS servirá como facilitador para que los equipos estratégicos de Compara funcionen de forma coordinada y alineada.

El Chief of Staff será parte del C-level Management de la compañía, participando así en la estrategia de Compara.

Sus responsabilidades incluirán:

Head of Remote: no es un rol que actualmente exista en Compara, por lo que el CoS tomará esta responsabilidad. Trabajará como consultor interno cruzado con el C-team, HR y el CEO, en diseñar y documentar la evolución de cómo trabajamos en Compara, es decir, el "Sistema Operativo" de Compara. Incluye temas como la gestión de conocimiento, la documentación de reuniones, proyectos y tareas, las estrategias de comunicación (síncrona y asíncrona), los procesos en torno a los objetivos (OKRs vs DRI) y los procesos para la toma de decisiones (ej. evaluar implementar metodología RAPIDs)

  • El CEO trabajará en conjunto con el CoS en la implementación del Sistema Operativo, iterando y mejorando lo que ya existe en Compara. Este esfuerzo debe cuidar los valores y la cultura interna de Compara, con el objetivo de llevar el Performance Organizacional al siguiente nível
  • La implementación de lo que se defina en el Sistema Operativo será responsabilidad del Cteam con el apoyo de HR, no del CoS

Arquitecto tech-stack productivo: será el arquitecto de las herramientas de comunicación y documentación centrales de Compara: Notion, Slack, Calendar y Reclaim

Documentación áreas estratégicas de Compara

  • Internamente nos referimos a estos documentos como "Papelógrafos". Definimos como área estratégica al equipo bajo cada Cmanager y en el caso de Producto e Ingeniería, incluímos todos los Squads que ejecutan el roadmap de producto
  • Trabajará con cada Cmanager para llevar sus papelógrafos a un formato común. Trabajará a su vez con el CEO validando que todas las conversaciones y acuerdos de los meses previos de planificación estén debidamente plasmados en los papelógrafos

OKRs en las áreas estratégicas

  • Definirá los formatos de la apertura de los OKRs y, más importante aún, del cierre con los análisis en retrospectiva del Q.
  • Facilitará a que las fechas de apertura y cierre de los OKRs se cumplan en tiempo y forma
  • Ayudará al CEO a interpretar y evaluar todo el contenido en los cierres y aperturas

OKRs de la Compañía y el CEO

  • En conjunto con el CEO, definirá y actualizará estos objetivos

Performance Review

  • Proveerá material al CEO para el Performance Review del equipo

Minutas de todas las reuniones en las que participe el CEO, con los debidos Action Items generados (reuniones del Management, 1-1s, Ad-Hoc)

  • Cada reunión estará acompañada de 5 a 15 minutos de debrief con el CEO para reflexionar sobre la reunión. Posterior a esa reflexión será el responsable de escribir las Minutas y Action Items, con su posterior seguimiento
  • Los Action Items que sean de responsabilidad del CEO, siempre que sea posible, serán ejecutados por el CoS

Mantener y priorizar listas de Tareas y Proyectos del CEO. Actualmente trabajamos con el framework de Getting Things Done (GTD)

  • Llevará la lista de tareas y proyectos en las que participe el CEO. Trabajando para mejorar la metodología de este sistema (GTD) y las herramientas usadas para su gestión
  • Lo anterior implica que llevará el calendario del CEO de forma macro. El día a día y movimientos de cada evento lo realizará el mismo CEO o eventualmente un Asistente

Eventualmente llevar algunas 1-1s de team sync

  • El CEO bajo ninguna circunstancia perderá contacto valioso con sus reportes directos, pero en ciertas oportunidades para elementos prácticos y más transaccionales (team sync), este reemplazo se podría dar

Ayudar al CEO con networking y relación con inversionistas

  • Proactivamente pensar y dar respuesta a

Viajes, conferencias, etc.
