  • An exciting opportunity has arisen as Aftermarket Sales Manager. You will be part of a team that work with service offerings, agreements, upgrades, and modifications, will be in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and our customers.
  • Our Global Customer Support division is responsible for Kongsberg Maritimes services, upgrades, and support in the aftermarket. Our 2300 employees are present in 35 different countries around the world. During the operational lifetime of more than installations, we ensure costefficient delivery of services, upgrades, and spare parts to secure availability and predictability to our customers.


Key accountabilities
  • Preparation of business case and offerings and development of documentation
  • Sales of Kongsberg Maritimes Services offerings+ Upgrades & Modifications
  • Negotiation and closing of agreements
  • Support the wider Aftermarket Sales Team in identifying and converting opportunities
  • Work with OEM sales to implement service agreements in early stage of new builds
  • Understand and leverage offerings to maximize value
  • Interact with various levels of management and engineers
  • Perform quotations, sales and negotiation activities with customers, agents and company partners, and all Sales activities according to the Sales process
  • Estimate a sales budget for every year, report progress monthly and achieve the goals
  • Develop local customers and seek for improving local market shares in this region
  • Visit customers regularly
  • Maintain network by visiting exhibitions abroad.
  • Seek for Maintenance & upgrades
  • Work on customers fleet list and keep them informed about life cycle management status
  • Responsible to protect company proprietary information and company information processing systems
  • Inform his/her immediate superior and utilize the global Incident Reporting system in matters concerning nonconformity, incidents, near misses and accidents
  • Lead based on KM Leadership principles
  • Responsible for performing their work in a safe way, following the procedures and routines given for the work, and actively contributing to raise the HSE standard
  • Act and comply with the terms and conditions of employment contract, including company's information security policy and related security procedures for his/her department, especially regarding the Procedure for Acceptable Use of IT Systems and Promise of Secrecy
Qualifications and experience- Proven negotiator and Sales professional

  • Credible and engaging presenter
  • It is desirable that you understand the width of the portfolio and an established internal network
  • Bachelor's degree in International Commerce, Engineering, Business Administration, or higher education related to these areas
  • Experience in multinational companies working with Services & Aftermarket business, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector
  • Fluent English written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of Propulsion & Engines and Deck Machinery & Motion Controls products

  • Identify commercial opportunities and you have a strong positive impact on business growth and profitability
  • Adhere to company rules and procedures and execute plans with commitment and determination
