Position Description

Pani, a seed-stage start-up, is looking for a Sales Manager to drive market growth, work closely with early adopters, and refine strategies to reach a wider audience. Reporting to the CEO, this role involves influencing demand generation, enhancing sales cycles, and achieving set sales targets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sales pipeline, crafting compelling customer messages, and building strong client relationships.

The company seeks a proactive individual with a strong sales background in the water industry. The ideal candidate should be adept at sales operations, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences. A strategic thinker with a knack for building and managing relationships, this role requires someone eager to contribute to global water and energy management.

What you bring to the team

  • A degree in business administration or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of B2B sales experience in the water industry
  • Proficiency in sales operations and pipeline management
  • Excellent analytical and process-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Experience with advanced sales tools and resources
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales pipeline, prioritize prospects, and maximize new customer acquisitions
  • Develop sales forecasts to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets
  • Enhance all stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals
  • Design customized strategies for deal structuring and negotiation
  • Analyze market conditions and product demand to support business goals
  • Create and refine sales processes to expedite growth
  • Assess technical requirements and develop success plans for customers
  • Track key performance metrics in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve demand generation
  • Conduct product demos and attend industry events

  • Prior sales roles in the water sector
  • CRM management experience (Hubspot)
