We are now looking for a Senior Manager - Logistics Service Provider Management NCA & SAM
Global Logistics Services Management team is responsible of category sourcing and partner management for logistics on Metso Outotec level, logistics quality assurance, standard logistics deployment, logistics sustainability and distribution center operations in aftermarket business.
As a Senior Manager, Logistics Service Provider Management NCA & SAM you would ensuring the performance, compliance and business development of selected Logistics Service Providers as well as participating and leading strategic and tactical logistics initiatives in the Market Areas North
- and Central America and South America. Seeking cost savings, cost avoidance and total logistics costs initiatives as well as performance improvements with sustainable mindset are part of the key areas of this position. You will continuously seek ways to improve cost-efficiency and service solutions with close collaboration of multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Convincing negotiation skills are essential in contractual and operational matters.
You also need good skills in analyzing and understanding business needs and market capabilities to seek, create and implement new solutions.
Your workstyle is proactive, and you organize your own work independently. Naturally, you should have excellent communication skills in English and being a team player.This role requires travelling with Americas region constantly and globally (annually/bi-annually). Location for this role will be in US, Chile or Peru.
You will report to Olli-Petteri Salo, VP, Global Logistics Services Management and being a member of Global Logistics Management leadership team.
