About the role

As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the sales and marketing functions of the business unit under your responsibility.

You will report directly to the country MD/GM and functionally to the corresponding LA Vice President.

You will also work closely with other managers and stakeholders to ensure the alignment of our sales and marketing objectives and strategies with the country and regional goals.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that volume/mix/profit targets are achieved
  • Leading and motivating the sales and marketing teams, following policies and procedures to achieve the expected results
  • Managing the business unit P&L (e.g., budgeting, expenditures, profitability, return-on-investment, etc.) to ensure a profitable operation considering market back prices, and taking actions on cost variations
  • Developing and executing short to mid-term (1-3 years) sales, channel, price, portfolio and communication strategies and plans, aligned with the country objectives and regional strategies, that drive desired business results
  • Establishing and implementing sales, channel, price, portfolio and communication strategies that have short to mid-term (3-5 years) impact on business results in alignment with country objectives and regional strategies
  • Engaging country back office team (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, Marketing...) to ensure compliance and adherence to the plan
  • Developing the sales and marketing team to assure that talent is motivated, engaged, and empowered
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in sales and marketing, preferably in a senior or managerial role
  • Experience in the software industry, or a strong understanding of the software market and customer needs
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, plans, and campaigns, using data and insights to drive decision making
  • Experience in managing and leading sales and marketing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, performance, and accountability
  • Experience in managing the business unit P&L, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, building strong relationships and partnerships
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • A passion for innovation, learning, and excellence
