Amazon Web Services is making significant strides in the Chilean education market and offers a dynamic, high-energy work environment where you can play a crucial role in Amazon's ongoing innovation.

We are currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to spearhead our engagement with educational institutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within this vertical, with a strong reputation for exceeding sales targets while prioritizing customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a proactive individual who can develop and implement a strategic territory coverage plan, consistently meet quarterly revenue goals, and engage effectively with CXO-level executives, software developers, and IT architects.

The Account Manager should be a strategic thinker, comfortable working in a collaborative team environment, and proficient in all aspects of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue and market share in a specific territory and industry vertical.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan.
  • Communicate compelling value propositions for AWS services.
  • Accelerate customer adoption of AWS.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with partners to expand market reach and drive adoption.
  • Lead contract negotiations.
  • Foster long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

We have openings for candidates to work from either Santiago, RM, CHL.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets targeting C-level executives.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in building profitable partner ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating detailed go-to-market plans.
