ERAMET Chile S.A. is seeking a dynamic Sustainability Manager to lead our sustainability initiatives and strengthen our relationships with local communities. Key Responsibilities:

Sustainability:

Sustainability Initiatives: Design and execute sustainability projects that align with ERAMET Chile S.A.'s overall goals. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all efforts comply with local and international regulations, with a focus on energy transition metals. Stakeholder Engagement: Promote sustainability initiatives and form strategic partnerships with external stakeholders. Community Impact Strategy: Develop and maintain programs that positively impact local communities. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams (Environmental and Social Impact, Human Rights, Research & Innovation, Business Development) to drive sustainability projects. Sustainability Metrics and Reporting: Create metrics to measure effectiveness and prepare reports for stakeholders .

Community Relations:

Community Outreach Programs: Organize programs and events to promote ERAMET Chile S.A.'s products, services, and sustainability efforts. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with community members and organizations, acting as the principal ambassador for ERAMET Chile S.A. Community Feedback: Serve as a point of contact for neighboring businesses and communities, providing feedback to improve relations and sustainability efforts. Communication and Representation: Represent the company at events, draft and distribute communications, and respond to community inquiries to enhance the company's profile.

About You:

You are an experienced professional with a deep passion for sustainability and community engagement. Holding a Bachelors degree in social sciences, public relations, communication, environmental sciences, sustainability, or a related field, you bring over 10 years of expertise in community relations, sustainability, or environmental management. Your background in mining project development, particularly with early community engagement, sets you apart. You possess invaluable knowledge of the Atacama region and its indigenous communities, enabling you to navigate the local social context with ease. Your familiarity with Chilean legislation ensures compliance and effective strategy implementation. Fluent in Spanish and proficient in Aymara or Quechua, you can connect authentically with diverse stakeholders. Additionally, your intermediate English skills allow you to collaborate on a global scale.
