**Role and responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with industry experts across security, machine learning, digital risk protection, and cyber threat intelligence to develop cutting-edge machine learning solutions for the ZeroFox platform.
- Help define machine learning roadmaps and projects for your team.
- Evaluate and improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of existing ML models.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP and computer vision techniques to integrate them into our solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate ML models into the ZeroFox platform.
- Analyze and preprocess large, diverse datasets, ensuring the quality and integrity of the data used for model training and evaluation.
- Maintain clear and well-documented code to ensure long-term sustainability and smooth collaboration with other team members.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, and ensure your team’s growth and success.

**Required qualifications and skills**:

- Motivated, communicative, teamwork-oriented leader who is comfortable working in agile environments and is able to learn and adapt quickly
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, or a related field, OR equivalent education or experience
- Machine learning experience, typically a minimum of 5 years
- Team and/or project leadership experience, typically a minimum of 2 years
- Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in Python
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms

**Desired qualifications and skills**:

- Strong knowledge of NLP techniques, including but not limited to tokenization, parsing, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and named entity recognition.
- Strong knowledge of computer vision techniques such as object detection, segmentation, image classification, and OCR.
- Strong applied knowledge of statistics
- Familiarity with deep learning and/or reinforcement learning
- Familiarity with model fine tuning
- Familiarity with good software engineering practices
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
