Role and Responsibilities

Job Summary

1. Provide an optimum solution through a contract review and legal counsel.

2. Minimize the company's legal risks by responding to major disputes.

3. Manage and execute Company's Compliance program.

4. Advice on Data Privacy topics needed in the business.

Areas of responsibility

1. [Supporting to examine a contract] Examine a general type of contract and provide a solution to minimize legal risks.

2. [Legal counsel support] Examine a general type of counsel and provide a solution to minimize legal risks.

3. [Responding to a dispute and government investigation] Perform tasks to respond to major disputes like litigation, arbitration, and claim and a country's government investigation, following an established strategy.

4. [Compliance Program] Manage and execute Company´s compliance program, including trainings, audits and risk matrix, as well as investigating compliance denounces.

5. [Identifying and responding to a country's legal trend] Identify and analyze a country's regulation-related trend (legislation and precedent) which is related to the company's business like labor, environment, HR, and fair trade.

**Requirements**:

- Experienced professional with full understanding on specialized areas; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analyzing data requires evaluating identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments
- Typically requires minimum 5 years' of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience

Skills and Qualifications

- Time in the current position should be at least 12 month with no disciplinary action in the last 12 months
- Performance review ratings from the last 3 years have to be: Meets/Exceeds Some/Exceeds Most
- Application criteria: from supervisor level in case of employees from the same subsidiary and Jr. Manager for employees from other subsidiaries
