Our Santiago office is seeking for a Global Content Editor **, **this role is responsible for generating awareness of how GHD is making water, energy and communities sustainable for generations to come, this role is responsible for written content quality control through editing and vetting a high volume of written content for publication across various formats and channels.

**This position offers good variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Support the development of an annual content strategy for GHD’s strategic growth initiatives (water, energy, communities, and ESG) across channels and help achieve the optimal storytelling approach to increase audience engagement.
- Proofread pieces across formats including print, online, interactive, infographics, podcasts, webinars, and videos.
- Edit for quality control: clear messaging and narrative to match audience and channel.
- Coach GHD content creators on our writing guidelines: language usage, writing style, storytelling, and GHD content production processes.
- Interpret market research and insights to act as a champion for the audience. Develop a deep understanding of audience content consumption behaviours and propose and implement editorial improvements.
- Support the team in forecasting and monitoring content performance and content value across multiple platforms and markets, taking into account financial metrics as well as qualitative metrics (e.g., brand growth, brand values).
- Partner with regional marketing teams to build and produce content for their local market, clients, and business development teams.
- Support content objectives, success metrics and prioritization of initiatives to maximize business impact, often expressed in revenue growth and investment returns.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- 4+ years of experience in of editng writing experience.
- 2+ years of experience in an editor or proofreader role creating a wide range of written content for different audiences and channels. Extensive portfolio required.
- Exceptionally high level of attention to detail and ability to proofread written English to a native level.
- Experience writing and editing content on complex technical material in diverse formats, from engaging short-form web copy to long-form content.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with content writers and regional and service-related marketing teams from diverse backgrounds and locations.
- Bachelor’s degree required.

**Desirable skills**:

- Experience with corporate sustainability and/or built environment issues across: water, energy and climate, and communities (socio-economic impacts).
- Professional proofreader certification and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or a related technical field.
- Background in journalism.
