**Role**: The Cloud System Administrator reports to the Director, IT Infrastructure and works closely with the DevOps team. The incumbent will have proven experience managing and supporting cloud computing (private and public cloud) environments specifically with Azure. The Cloud System Administrator plays a major role in the implementation, deployment, maintenance, and evolution of cloud systems.

**Your Day with Equisoft**:

- Administer cloud systems and environments on the public clouds ensuring availability, reliability, and security of the systems.
- Support the environment’s automation, creation, and operations through the different available provisioning tools.
- Collaborate with the Cloud Architects, Cloud Infrastructure Developers and Project teams to implement, deploy, and maintain infrastructures supporting top of the line cloud solutions.
- Provide the project teams the appropriate support regarding cloud-specific expertise during the implementation stages.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to deploy, operate and alert mechanisms to ensure visibility of systems' behavior.
- Work closely with the Security team to implement industry's security best practices.
- Supervise the systems to ensure that daily operations are conducted appropriately.
- Demonstrate forward thinking around where the organization is going and how technology can support these efforts.

**Requirements**:
**Technical**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalency
- 5 + years of experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture,
- Good knowledge of network administration, TCP/IP protocols, Internet services (DNS, FTP, etc.), Windows family protocols
- Good Knowledge of firewall principles (I.e. Palo Alto, pfSense, Fortigate)
- Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems and Microsoft products (CentOS, Windows server 2012 R2 - 2016, Windows 10, etc.)
- Experience with claims-based authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC)
- Experience working in an Oracle Cloud (OCI) environment
- Knowledge of one or more configuration tools (Terraform, etc.)
- Understanding of good practices in terms of security and governance
- Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment, comfortable with uncertainty
- Able to work effectively across teams, with multiple stakeholders
- Team spirit, service-oriented attitude, diplomacy, and autonomy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
