**Job Description**:
Reporting directly to the Chile's CFO, you will play an important role in the Company's growth, leading accounting activities in Acquisitions (M&A), operations, in the development of new greenfield projects and new energy trading products.

It will be the focal point for IFRS discussions with the group and external auditors. It will also be responsible for monitoring and controlling the Delivery Specification agreement established between the International Business Unit and the GBS area, (Group Internal Accounting and Tax Reporting service provider) ensuring quality and good collaboration between the areas.

**Your main responsibilities will be**:

- Responsible for the consistency of the Financial Statements and business-related comments.
- Technical responsibility for Financial Statements.
- Responsible for intragroup reports (COGNOS includes driver analysis, quality check and forms and analysis).
- Lead IFRS discussions with Group and External Auditors.
- Conduct discussions with the Tax Advisor and Finance Committee when requested.
- Lead accounting deliveries related to M&A activities - (DGA/B).
- Lead accounting deliveries related to the Greenfield project development process -(DG1/4).
- Monitor and control the Delivery Specification contract established between the International Business Unit and the GBS area, (Group Internal Accounting and Tax Reporting service provider) ensuring quality, good collaboration, and good environment.
- Responsible for accounting and tax assumptions for the valuation process.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for the accounting area with continuous monitoring and performance evaluation to ensure performance measures of costs, expenses, investments, and cash flow, preventing such measures from exceeding the budgeted and/or estimated limit.
- Conducting the communication interface with the external audit regarding the delivery of information, clarifications, discussions of numbers, important principles for the quality of the audited financial statements, from International (IFRS) point of view.
- Support the CFO in the development and execution of the business strategy, whether from a tax, accounting, or financial point of view, interpreting costs, preparing reports and analyzes periodically, informing leaders about the processes adopted and assumed by management.

**Qualifications**:

- Higher level of education e.g., in finance, economics.
- Strong knowledge of financial processes like financial reporting, planning and forecasting.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (preferable SAP)
- Understand the reporting structures and data available in corporate solutions (SAP as ERP platform)
- Fluent in English & Spanish mandatory
- International accounting standards (IFRS)
- Regulatory Accounting for the Electric Sector
- Integrated corporate systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Performance Management Systems (Cognos, Hyperion, Mik Olap, etc.)
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
