**About the role**:
Reporting to the Manager Governance and Technical Stewardship, this highly influential role is part of BHP’s state of the art Maintenance and Engineering Centre of Excellence (MECoE). Offering wide stakeholder engagement, you will be involved in developing, implementing, supporting, and assuring selected engineering global standards, processes, and systems across BHP’s Engineering teams in our global assets.

You will be part of a global team that drives Engineering initiatives to enable standardisation and improved business outcomes including:

- Develop and maintain the global Asset Integrity standards.
- Maintain and develop BHP global standards pertaining to Asset Integrity through leading and guiding global working groups.
- Performing second line of assurance (L2) activities associated with the global Asset Integrity standards.
- Conduct deep dive investigations into asset integrity topics.
- Maintain the frameworks that contain the relevant documents, systems and tools aligned with global standards.

**About you**:

- Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or an aligned discipline.
- Significant engineering or maintenance experience in the resource industry with a focus directly related to Asset Integrity.
- Exposure across operational engineering and maintenance teams.
- Experience in the management of Material Risks and Critical Controls associated with asset integrity risks.
- Experience in managing fire systems integrity will be highly regarded.
- Ability to engage in highly influential discussions with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and demonstrated experience building mutually sound and beneficial relationships across multiple groups.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to challenge and lead change.
- Ability to think conceptually and transform ideas into well-structured, tangible outcomes.
