**The Work You’ll Do**:
As a Country Manager, you will provide strategic, operational and programmatic direction to the regional organization. The position supervises the sales, marketing, professional services, client support, and client services units and is accountable for the service delivery and commercial operations in the country.
The CM reports to the Regional Managing Director and directly assists on all strategic, policy and tactical matters as they relate to regional performance including supervision, sales, budgeting and control, and financial performance.
**More specifically, you will**:
- Works with the Regional Managing Director and Region Leadership Team on developing business plans and supporting initiatives, tracking key performance indicators, and monitoring the implementation of strategic business plans to ensure consistent execution within a dynamic business environment.
- Participates in implementing the GTM (Go-To-Market) plan for the target market for each relevant product or service within the overall corporate strategy.
- Implements and helps define integrated marketing programs, tracks key performance indicators, and monitors implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans to ensure consistent execution.
- Formulates, articulates, and executes a sales strategy that consists of quarterly sales objectives, market initiatives, strategic programs, account penetration strategies, and communication of the Sovos value proposition.
- Manages and maintains a high-level relationship with top corporate customers and with local government regulators that define the way Company’s products are used. Will work and assist the Corporate Regulation Unit.
- Constructs reliable control and decision support systems, implements operational best practices, keeps abreast of critical issues in the region, and works with functional management to impact outcomes.
- Reviews financial and performance data with management to achieve budgeted results and affect changes in sales and marketing approach, service delivery and operations.
- Establishes systematic management development and provides for capable management succession.
- Supervises assigned personnel, allocates work and makes decisions regarding employment, performance appraisals, training and development, compensation, promotions and transfers.
**Accountabilities and Performance Measures**:
- Responsible for Go-to-market activities in the region.
- Improvement in Key Performance Indicators.
- Responsible for strategic objectives and initiatives or programs as defined by management.
- Ultimately jointly responsible for Sales target.
**Organizational Alignment**:
- Reports Regional Managing Director.
- Directly and indirectly manages a team of approximately 100+ sales, marketing, professional services, client support, and client services employees.
- Coordinates managerial and company executive involvement as necessary.
**What We Need From You**:
- Fluent English skills required (written and verbal).
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible management experience with day-to-day operations within software, technology or consulting and professional services organizations.
- Experience either in implementation or adoption of standards in a corporate setting highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiating skills to quickly establish rapport and credibility at all levels within the client, prospect, partner and Sovos organizations, including the C- and board-level.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, able to command respect, and ability to motivate others to achieve excellence and attain goals.
- Ability to structure commercial aspects of client relationships and achieve win-win negotiation results.
- Excellent analytic and problem solving skills; sound business acumen and executive presence.
- Position requires international travel to company subsidiaries and client and partner offices.
