**The team you'll be part of**

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

You will join the Center of Expertise (CoE) team under the NPO Americas Market Services Unit (MSU) and will enjoy our culture of innovation, openness, discipline, simplicity, accountability.

Your future team will focus on superior Nokia RAN performance across different technologies including 5G, 4G & O-RAN/vRAN.

Your unit’s main priorities are ensuring Nokia achieves best in class end user experience in 4G/5G networks and help grow Nokia NPO business in the region.

Our CoE is looking for experienced, enthusiastic, and talented individuals. You will be the focal point of network performance and working closely with various teams including R&D, NPI & TSS to make sure we have the best-in-class performance from lab entry till production deployment of new S/W loads and features. Tasks will include system performance analysis, competitive analysis, lab/field testing, KPI analysis/trending.

You will also contribute to growing Nokia NPO business in the region by performing proactive performance analysis and identify opportunities to improve network performance.

Main responsibilities will include:

- Network performance focal point for major customers
- E2E Performance validation from NPI until mass deployment & beyond
- Communicate with customer’s executives & national/regional/market teams
- Supporting FOA/NPI for new S/W loads & features
- Validate/Update SW Configuration against Nokia/Customer master configuration throughout release/feature life cycle till production
- Perform holistic performance validation before GA milestone
- S/W load or features’ optimization
- Knowledge of changes in algorithms & feature dependencies release-to-release and with new features, quantify impacts and define mitigation plans
- Knowledge of new or changes in KPIs and counters in new release/feature
- Supporting S/W upgrade and feature deployments
- Performance Monitoring and analysis Post S/W Upgrade
- Validate features’ performance and expected results when deployed in production network
- Identify performance degradation causes and work with TSS/R&D teams for resolution

**Your skills and experience**

You have:

- 3GPP R15/R16 understanding of system requirments and Nokia's Implementation
- Deep knowledge of Nokia 4G/5G Features' including activation, testing, tuning, features' dependencies analysis
- Deep knowledge of Nokia 4G/5G algorithms & changes between releases
- Deep knowledge of Nokia 4G/5G KPIs/Counters including triggering conditions, changes between releases, troubleshooting & root cause analysis
- Deep knowledge of Nokia 4G/5G Parameters & optimization best practices
- Knowledge and Experience enabling, testing & optimizing technologies like VoLTE, Carrier Aggregation, Massive MIMO, Beamforming, VoNR & DSS
- Deep knowledge of 4G/5G Radio Interface protocols and ability to perform analysis & troubleshooting of call flows
- Experience working with R&D & System level engineers on features' performance analysis, troubleshooting & root cause analysis
- knowledge of 4G/5G performance troubleshooting using tools like EMIL, QXDM, Actix & Wireshark
- Ability to communicate, explain & adapt concepts & deep technical details to executives and engineers
- Ability to demonstrate leadership skills to guide and mentor teams to achieve required business goals
- Work with and across different Business Lines and Business groups within Nokia (Local & Global)
