Job Requirements

Role Purpose
Chubb is looking for talented data engineering professional who can partner with cross-functional local and regional teams to increase LATAM business data availability in a central space with main goal to enable automation of data reporting, business decision making.
In this role, you will be responsible to design, deliver and maintain a data solution flexible enough to support growth of our internal business lines and external business partners. In this role, you will play a key role in definition of regional data strategy, defining data strategy with existing and new partners and supporting data governance structure.

Role Responsibilities
Bring new perspectives of data use that helps answering previously unanswerable and new questions.
Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization.
Foster internal and external collaboration with teams of varying backgrounds, from the highly technical to the highly creative, to drive success.
Partner with business stakeholders to evaluate and approve implementation of tools and processes needed to aggressively drive data solutions and KPIs tracking for new and existing business cases.
Lead the buildup of data to develop a holistic view on customer interaction for better customer experience and product development.
Establish consistent, streamlined processes supporting priority use case enablement, coordinating across stakeholder groups.

Work Experience

**Requirements**:
Intellectually curious out-of-the-box thinker who is passionate about brainstorming innovative ways to use data to solve business problems
Strong analytics skills, good business sense to connect early-stage company data to decision making
Advance user of MS Excel, SQL, Informatics, SSIS or hands on other ETL tools and statistical software (e.g., Python, SAS, R, Stata or related technology)
Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese (writing and spoken).

Experience
5+ years of progressive experience in data management, product development, and/or data governance.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent field. Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field such as statistics, operations research, economics, computer science preferred (graduate degree is a plus).
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the full spectrum of internal stakeholders and customers.
