**Job Description and Requirements**

Synopsys provides cloud solutions (both BYOC -“Build Your Own Cloud” and SaaS - “Software as a Service”) for EDA customers who use Synopsys EDA tools in clouds. The DPS (Distributed Processing Solutions) team provides building blocks to enable such cloud offers. We look for an additional team member to join our exciting R&D initiatives, to support successful deployment of our products, and to provide expert guidance in the adoption and integration of our products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Research, design, develop, document, and test software programs built by us or the open-source communities.
- Integrate, benchmark, and profile software; investigate causes to problems and find solutions to them.
- Lead effort and take ownership in finding and building new solutions for technical problems facing (EDA) engineering computing.
- Learn new engineering practices in design, debugging, and troubleshooting.

**Requirements**:

- Have completed Computer Science or relevant training at least at a four-year college level.
- Have experiences with Operating Systems development, Filesystems development, Cloud Computing, or Networking subsystems development.
- Fluent with C++ or Golang programming, with skills in C and Python a plus.
- EDA background is a plus but not a must.
- Fluent in English.
