**Job Description**:
The Market Research Lead is responsible to identify business needs and convert them into Market Research and Data Analytics Initiatives to create business recommendations based on our Priorities. Also, developing, structuring, and promoting data activities (prescriptive and/or predictive analysis). Those recommendations aim at guiding/challenging strategical and tactical marketing decisions (ex: customer segmentation, optimal level of investment per channel, prediction of customer engagement based on historical data).

This role requires knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, healthcare ecosystem, business economics, statistical methods to select significant data and methods to answer business questions through data.

It is desired (not required) knowledge of business intelligence solutions, programming (sql, phyton or other programming language), database tools (oracle, redshift, sqlserver or other).

**Main activities**:
**Design and Lead (60%)**
- Identify business needs and convert them into Market Research and Data Analytics Projects
- Lead Market Research Initiatives using inhouse or third party’s resources
- Act as Business Consultant to Marketers and Business Units: Customer Journey, Value Chain Analysis, Ecosystem mapping, customer segmentation (consumers and institutions)
- Ensures the progress of Data activities within the agile team and provides regular feedback to the Business Owner

**Analytics and Insigths (40%)**
- Identifies the relevant data sources (internal and third-party data) to answer business questions
- Use advanced analytics to describe, measure and answer business questions
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to build advanced segmentation models, predictive analytics to increase the business effectiveness
- Reports and communicates results in a clear and simple way
- Transforms data analysis into actionable business recommendations

Skills and experiences required_**

**Education - 5 years in higher education **in a quantitative field, like statistics, IT, engineering, mathematics, or another related field. MBA/Business Postgraduate degree is required.

**Experience**
- At least 10 years of experience, minimum of 3 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry or Healthcare ecosystem (B2C or B2B) in areas such as market research, customer experience, data&analytics, digital marketing or product management.
- Experience working with Business Intelligence Solutions (OBIEE, SAS, Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau), data sets, relational databases (SQL).
- Strong Project Management and communication skills. Customer Orientation, business and results orientated. Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
