**About the role**
Our business is spread across the globe and so do we. We are looking for a seasoned professional with high energy on Talent and Learning & Development. The role will be part of our Global HR Centre of Expertise Organisational Effectiveness but based in the Americas Region.
- What you'll do- Collaborate with the global team & the regional team - both from HR as well from the business community on further developing and enhancing our learning & leadership development roadmap and ensuring a best in class Employee Experience.
- Contribute to the definition and execution of the learning technology roadmap while driving the implementation of global initiatives for the region with a global mindset but with a regional/local touch. Will ensure that our people processes run well in the region, more specifically our People Performance Cycle and Talent Management Cycle.
- Drives the regional L&D Community to exchange & leverage best practices and Talent Management and Learning & Development suited for the regional needs whilst fitting within the global Etex context.
- Provides coaching, guidance and advice on Talent Management & Development, is the regional expert and in addition, expert for the assigned global functions. When required, stand up and facilitate large group meetings

As the Regional Talent and Development Manager your expertise means that you will be a valued member of the Etex Group HR Centre of Excellence Team and the Regional HR Leadership Team. We are a diverse team who have embraced our new world of remote working, but who regularly collaborate either by virtual means, or where it makes sense we may travel as required within the region or to Zaventem, Belgium where the Etex HQ is based.
You will have regular connections with Strategic HR Business Partners, Head of COE Organisational Effectiveness, Regional HR Managers, Country HR Managers, Global Talent Manager, Country Talent & Development Managers, and Business functional and divisional leaders.
- What you’ll bring- Several years of in-depth professional experience in Talent and Learning & Development or in a position with great exposure towards people leadership and organizational development
- Experience of working in an international, industrial company
- Proven track record in developing and implementing new initiatives
- Understanding of how one issue may be a part of a much larger system
- Pause to reflect mindset - take a step back when needed, ensuring that you will bring the best suitable solution
- Comfortable working with systems, digital savvy and analytical
- Fluency in English
- It would be an advantage, but is not essential, if you also have:_
- Experience of working with a LMS and/or LX
- A certification (or proven experience) in coaching and methodologies like Insights, MBTI is a great asset
- Relevant qualifications such as a Batchelor or Master degree in organizational development, industrial management
