Systems Engineer III

LOCATION

We are looking for a person who will be a part of a great team of Conferencing & Audio Video engineers focused on making our businesses successful with continuous service improvement. As an Audio Video Build Engineer, you will use your knowledge and expertise to help drive seamless conference room product delivery and technology direction for the Shared Services Team. You must possess a unique blend of technical, customer service and out-of-the-box problem solver skills. Be proficient in Agile methodologies, to plan, perform and execute work. Prior experience in deployment and providing specialized technical support for Microsoft O365 Teams, Exchange, Conferencing Hardware vendors including but not limited to Poly, Lenovo, Logitech, Crestron & Microsoft desired. Experience with End User Conferencing Peripherals, Client Laptops and Tablet Devices and other systems that support the management, delivery, use and security within the Conferencing environment is required. This includes Project Deployment activities, Operational Support escalations, technical documentation, and training and knowledge transfer to other team members.

Specific responsibilities will include:

- Build and deployment of conferencing solutions.
- Service Desk and internal team ticket escalation for resolving issues. Each incident must be correctly classified and clearly documented and assigned to the appropriate operational queue.
- Perform senior level support for incidents as they are received via the ticket queue including escalation assessment, troubleshooting and resolution as able.
- Escalate issues to level IV and / or vendors as required.
Perform senior level support for requests of conferencing voice and data incidents based on events and escalations. Manage all aspects of the delivery and implementation process as part of the ongoing deployment scope.
Updates the documentation of conferencing solutions as it evolves.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years' IT experience with Microsoft Conferencing or similar solutions.
- 3+ years' experience in the following:

- Advanced level analytical skills to identify problems and troubleshoot resolutions.
- Knowledge of M365, MS Teams and Microsoft Team Room solutions.
- Ability to perform complex support and implementation of conferencing solutions. Perform service upgrades and patches while documenting the process.
- Conference Systems experience including but are not limited to Poly, Lenovo, Logitech, Crestron, Cisco & Microsoft.
- Bonus experience:

- Voice service platform experience, MS Teams & RingCentral.
- Conferencing Bridge experience with Poly Real Connect or similar services.
- Multilingual experience
