As Legal Counsel you will contribute to the work in reaching the sales market goals and you are responsible for ensuring compliance with law.
You are responsible for enabling, guiding and protecting the H&M Group in relation to all legal and regulatory matters that the Group enters into or is a party to. This involves the regulatory landscape, negotiating, writing and reviewing various agreements and giving legal advice. You are also responsible for understanding local and global legal requirements and standards and supporting your market to achieve these wherever possible. Further, you are responsible for assisting with training in relevant legal areas and assisting with conflict management when required.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)**:
**_ DRAFTING, NEGOTIATING AND ADVISING_**
- Draft, review and interpret legal agreements and negotiate on behalf of the company to meet legal targets/guidelines, company goals and mitigating risk for the group.
- Assist the organisation in drafting and negotiating various types of contracts such as supplier contracts, services contracts, NDAs, MOUs, etc.
- Creating legal templates and precedent documentation which best supports business goals.
- Provide day to day legal advice and support to the organisation. Evaluating and weighing multiple inputs and impacts of any decision or course of action.
- Set internal governance policies and manage the impact of external factors.
- Optimize the use of external legal and consulting services to reach the company goals.
- Assist Country Controller in corporate matters incl. drafting corporate documentation and governance policies/guidelines.
- Meet legal objectives - ensuring regulatory compliance whilst securing business aims.
- Participate in crisis meeting regarding legal topics and provide advice.
- Assisting group functions and brands in various issues regarding your jurisdiction.
- Assist and lead (as appropriate) on procurement for external services.
- Support business expansion taking all necessary legal actions with external partners, Tax authority and auditing.

- Provide expert and strategic legal advice to management and functions as required.
- Anticipate issues and estimate risk strategically by evaluating and weighing multiple inputs and impacts of any decision or course of action.
- Identify proactive solutions that will eliminate or mitigate risks.
- Base your decision-making process on ethics and integrity.
- Create associations of trust and respect with key stakeholders (both locally and with the wider global network such as the Global Legal community).
- Deal with complex matters that cut across legal and related areas.

**Besides your personality we see that you have**:
- Legal degree as a Lawer** (mandatory)**:
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in similar roles.
- High level of professionalism - Representing H&M Group to external parties and
internal stakeholders requires a high level of professionalism.
- ** Language proficiency - Must be fluent in both Spanish and English as per sales market language and direct cooperation with the Global Legal Team.**:
- Strategic skills - Is able to define effective long-term plans in line with the vision and strategy and targets for the legal team
- Conflict resolution - comfortable and efficient in resolving, or facilitating the solving of situations with conflicting interests.
- Understanding of risk - Analyze and understand the risk involved, the consequences associated with that risk and able to clearly explain to decision makers
