Overview:
The position reports to the Chief Representative Officer of SMBC Chile.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Support in the preparation of client materials (presentations, proposals, RFPs, term sheets, etc) for corporate and project finance
2. Structuring and analyzing financial models and execution (documentationreview) of deals across a range of sub sectors (Corporates, Mining, Renewables, Energy, Transport, Natural Resources, etc)
3. Support negotiation of loan documentation, NDAs, ISDAs, advisory mandates, among others
4. Identify areas of credit risk and look to mitigate
5. Undertake research and analytics related to specific sectors, large corporate groups or individual companies, and stay abreast of current market conditions
6. Provide ad hoc reports and presentations for management
7. Constantly provide ideas and suggestions for better business practices and growth

Qualifications:

- Strong analytical skills
- Self-driven professional, problem solver, proactive and enthusiastic with and interest in developing a career in Corporate and Investment Banking.
- Financial modelling skills
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent personal skills to work well with multidisciplinary and cultural teams
- 100% fluency in English
