**As a Data Insights team member, you will become a thought partner to leadership of a specific product or initiative, and work on enterprise analytics problems that require tremendous creativity. Primarily we work with Tableau while data is stored in a number of data lake technologies and Salesforce systems. This team is made up of a subset of engineers focused on post incident analysis. In this role; raising awareness of trends and statistical areas of weakness is a key focus for success. With this we are growing our team to include data analysts, data scientists, and engineers who are dedicated to driving product strategy with data-driven insights. We work with executives, product managers, and go-to-market team members across all Cloud businesses to discover new opportunities for growth and optimization, experiment with data and provide actionable insights that shape the company’s direction. This role will be US remote/Flex employment with a desire to be within a 4 hour radius of one of the Salesforce office locations.**:
**About the Role**:
**We are looking for an experienced data analyst to help us meet the growing data needs of the Site Reliability Engineering team driving product availability. This person will focus on the frontend of our analytics environment but will not necessarily be limited to just this area. They will build a solid understanding of Salesforce products and customer journeys and will work closely with our product teams to identify needs and formulate metrics. They will build and maintain analytical content such as data sets, reports and dashboards and run the Tableau environment. This includes establishing standard methodologies for self-service, usability and performance. They will also make our data more discoverable by helping curate central data definitions.**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Engage with business partners to understand requirements and map to logical and physical data models**:

- **Develop, automate, and take ownership of data models, analyses, and visualizations that empower our business teams to understand the journey of Salesforce customers and their experiences**:

- **Answer open ended questions by extracting exciting and practical insights from data**:

- **Performing data validation, troubleshooting data pipelines and maintaining reporting accuracy**:

- **Handling user-impacting changes gracefully and providing clear and timely communications**:

- **Develop and refine standards for reporting and analysis**:

- **R&D and prototyping of new design patterns and technologies**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- **You have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering.**:

- **You have at least 3-5 years of hands-on work experience in Analytics or Data Science**:

- **3-5 year of experience with Tableau**:

- **Laser focused on impact, balancing effort to value, and getting things done.**:

- **Curious, creative, opinionated thinker with a talent for detecting patterns and elevating through strategy.**:

- **Define, track and analyze requirements while partnering with business leaders**:
**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Charismatic storyteller ready to lead growth conversations with senior leadership.**:

- **Expert in building relationships and collaborating in matrixed environments.**:

- **Experience with Splunk, Python/R, SQL and BI tools is a plus.**:

- **Lover of math with solid understanding of statistical methods.**:
