Communications Specialist

To achieve the above, this position will have as its objective to assist in managing and developing essential employee communications resources and the distribution of the information to employees based on key communication initiative objectives.

In addition, this position will have generalist capability (internal/external/digital) in

communications as well as strategically developing, implementing and supporting key

communication projects. This role will assist in strategically developing, implementing and

supporting key communication projects for the Latin America (LATAM) Cluster.

What tasks will you perform?
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy aligned with Air Liquide´s objectives and values.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure that communication initiatives support business goals.
- Provide project management and roll-out support on a variety of internal communication and engagement projects for pertinent internal stakeholders, including management, sales, Human Resources (HR), IT, the Business Service Center (BSC) and Business Partners.
- _Examples: Group initiatives, HR campaigns, Americas hub events, Executive events, Town Halls, community outreach, etc. _
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and departments, including the BSC, on providing necessary communication support for identified projects; including but not limited to conceptualize, write, edit and produce customized communication plan and marketing materials.
- Facilitate internal communication efforts to ensure employees are informed and engaged.
- _Organize internal events and activities to foster a sense of belonging and teamwork. _
- _Maintain schedule of internal communications working cross-functionally with corporate and country teams on key communication initiatives _
- Develop and execute digital campaigns to increase brand awareness and employee engagement.
- _Manage and grow Air Liquide presence on social media platforms. _
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt communication strategies accordingly. Provide insights to the management team for strategic decision-making.
- Support various executive and senior leadership on the roll out of a wide variety of business initiatives, including public presentations (in person or online conferences, trade shows and panels), communications in support of projects, investments, acquisitions, employee meetings, new product launches, etc.
- Provide support for crisis communications as needed (drafting statements, monitoring media, etc).
- Support the Communications Manager in developing a communication roadmap that highlights competitive position, technologies, key partnerships, market opportunities, etc for our operations.

**Are you a MATCH?**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field 6+ years of experience in communications or marketing or a similar role.
- Proven experience in writing communications for corporations, agencies and organizations, including speeches, reports, articles, brochures, websites
- Working knowledge of Google platform (Google+ Communities, Gmail, Drive, etc.)
- Strong skills in project and event management
- Familiarity with publishing, web and social media tools/platforms
- Expert knowledge of grammar and style and familiarity with AP Stylebook.
- _English intermediate as a dual language. _
- Project management and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
- Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.
- Comfort with managing multiple, aggressive deadlines.
- Photo editing software is an asset (Adobe Illustrator + Photoshop).
