Our global team of creative and highly technical developer advocates encourages, enables, engages, and supports our ever-growing developer community around the world. We make developers successful across all technologies of the Salesforce ecosystem

We write blog posts, produce on-demand and live-streamed video content, and engage virtually and in-person with developers at Salesforce and third-party developer events. We partner closely with developer marketing, product management, engineering, product marketing and teams across the company. We represent the “voice of the developers” internally, and advocate on their behalf to help craft the Salesforce developer experience.

**Who You Are**
We are looking for an expert technologist who is passionate about Commerce solutions for B2B and B2C. You are a creative problem solver who understands what it means to develop on API-first commerce solutions and how to design and implement compelling experiences. You feel comfortable working with back-end and front-end programming languages even though you may not identify as a full-stack developer.

You love going broad and deep, creating inspirational and technical open source demos, and complementing those demos with accessible written and video content. You are comfortable sharing your knowledge in front of a camera, and once it becomes safe to do so, you are looking forward to domestic and international travel to present to live audiences of hundreds of people.

This role is open to applicants from the AMER and EMEA regions.

**You Are Excited About This Role Because You Will**:

- Develop and maintain your expertise with Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B and B2C offerings, and build content that integrates Commerce Cloud with other Salesforce technologies.
- Create code samples, prototypes, and demos that encourage B2B and B2C commerce developers and help them be successful adopting Salesforce digital commerce solutions.
- Write technical content and produce on-demand and live-streamed videos.
- Support virtual and in-person events with technical talks, demonstrations, hackathons and workshops.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams as the “voice of developers” to influence the future of products.
- Engage with the B2B and B2C practitioner community on their own channels as well as Salesforce Developer Relations channels.

**We’re Excited About You, Because You Have**:

- Demonstrated ability implementing Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar commerce solutions, with a creative technical mentality.
- Deep understanding and passion for the commerce landscape.
- Proven technical expertise with React and Lightning Web Components, headless APIs, as well as familiarity with the Salesforce Apex programming language.
- Certifications or equivalent hands-on technical experience related to B2B and B2C Commerce.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills and experience making sophisticated technical concepts accessible and understandable.
- Solid understanding and appreciation for the constant and rapid shift in how and where people consume content and share their experiences.
- Aim to be a solo self-starter, and at the same time to be a highly collaborative teammate
- Extensive experience with social media.
- Passion for learning and working with new technologies.
- A strategic mind and deep problem solving and analytical skills.

**Bonus Skills/Experience**:

- Experience with the Salesforce Platform, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with 3rd party commerce solutions.
