**Purpose of the position**:
Act as the project owner and team lead in the organization. As certified independant R&D Innovation Coach, manage Accelerator Innovation projects end to end, from preparing and agreeing on scope, to creating validated winning concepts, developing and producing excellent products and delivering them into the shop test on time (pilot launch to validate business opportunity), on quality & on budget. Setup project planning, stakeholder management, project reviews with the business, core team and extended team. Provide learnings and recommendations to the business for fast decision making. Proactively provide expert input to all running projects in Latam and in the community and impact the global Accelerator program and the community with good practices and other support.

**A day in the life of an R&D Innovation Coach**:
Project is setup: Stakeholder on-boarding, project scoping, project & communication plan
- Team members are onboarded with appropriate training and material
- The core project team members are led with inspiration and managed with empowerment during the project.
- Guide the Cross-functional extended project team from the idea to the completed shop test.
- Consumer/shopper-centric MVP & good for you products and strong USPs are created and validated.
- Design and execution of the shop test to maximize learnings for business adoption or fast decision making.
- Management Principles and good practices of accelerator projects are safeguarded
- Post-transfer regular follow-up with stakeholders, based on agreed transfer plan.

**What will make you successful**:

- Several years of cross-functional product innovation experience gained through I&R projects participation or management incl. experience as a team member in an Accelerator project end to end
- Demonstrated project management skills with excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
- Leadership, team building skills, proven to build sound relationships and networking through and at all levels of the organization
- Expertise in consumer insight, concept writing and testing methodologies
- Experience in innovation strategy & management
- Expert in Lean Startup and design thinking methodologies and tools are a plus
- Experience in product development and or manufacturing
