**About Data Analytics (DA)**

**What you will be doing at Evalueserve**
- Provide 3rd and 4th level cloud database support for complex issues (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Participate in and manage database related projects, database security patching audits, and compliance reviews and testing.
- Develop new and update existing database technology related documentation as needed
- Provide technical leadership for all aspects of database management such as database lifecycle management, monitoring, support, disaster recovery, compliance, and standards.
- Research, benchmark, and suggest improvements to database support processes, customer experience (CX) improvements, and compliance requirements.
- Research new cloud database versions (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL), features, tools, and technologies with an Enterprise perspective to meet customer needs while maintaining a secure database environment.

**What we're looking for**
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 1+ year of experience on managing Cloud Native Databases like AWS Aurora, AWS RDS databases (MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- 1+ year of proven field support experience on PaaS databases in Azure and or AWS
- Active participation on several from on-premises to cloud migration projects (example: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- 1+ year of experience on doing cross platform migrations from Oracle or MySQL or MSSQL to Community editions of MySQL / PostgreSQL
- Knowledge using any Script Query Language like Oracle PL/SQL, MSSQL T-SQL, MySQL Stored program languages, etc.
- SQL Cloud Database Administration skills
- Database Lifecycle Management (DBLM)
- Backup management for IaaS and PaaS DBs in Azure and AWS clouds
- Experience in Infrastructure-as-code to deploy Stack using AWS CloudFormation
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines to deliver Cloud resources, using tools like Azure DevOps (cloud formation), Terraform or similar
- YAML & JSON coding skills
- Scripting knowledge (shell, sed, awk, Perl, etc.)
- Database performance tuning
- Desired knowledge of Vector Database
- Participate on customer driven and Division/department projects
- Work with a geographically distributed team
- Act in a self-directed manner, independently researching tools/libraries/technologies or solving a problem with mínimal oversight and instruction
