**Overview**:
- Flood walls, sea walls, floodgates, spillways, dams, and levees.
- Piers, trestles, bulkheads, revetments.
- Breasting and mooring dolphins, multi and single-buoy moorings, fender systems, ship loading equipment foundations.
- Heavy lift structures, concrete caissons/ Gravity-Base Structures, floating steel or concrete structures.
- Ferry terminals, tug harbors, offshore wind farm staging ports, inlet/ outfall pipelines.
**Job Duties will include**:
- Analysis, design, and detailing of steel, concrete, and timber marine structures.
- Satisfaction of project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with coursework in structural engineering.
- 5-10 years of experience in the structural engineering of infrastructure.
- The ability to create concrete and steel drawings and details (manually or by CAD) and to perform analyses in SAP2000 or a similar finite. element analysis program. Experience with deep foundations and retaining walls (or bulkheads or cofferdams).
- Strong report-writing skills in English.
- Ability to work remotely with colleagues and clients under tight deadlines and changing scope.
- Working knowledge of codes and standards written in English pertinent to marine structural engineering, including ACI-318.
**Preferred, Additional Qualifications**:
- Master of Engineering or Science focused on structural engineering.
- Knowledge of international marine design guidelines and codes.
- Experience with geotechnical, arctic, offshore, or construction engineering, including EnSoft software products (such as LPILE and APILE), Matlab, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of vortex-induced vibration and similar marine-based phenomena.
- Construction/ cost estimating experience related to marine or coastal projects.
- Broad interest in multiple areas of marine and coastal structural engineering.
- Creativity and flexibility in design, as part of collaboration with a client.
**Bonus Qualifications**:
- Business development experience and existing relationships with potential clients.
