**- Enters supplier quotes and purchase order details to generate supplier orders.
- Places supplier’s orders when required.
- Receives acknowledgments from vendors to update purchasing system.
- Assists in resolving problems or finding missing information.
- Proofs own work.**
**Job Requirements
**EXPERIENCE**:
1 year of data entry experience is required

1 year of customer service experience is required

1 year of Knowledge of purchasing and inventory concepts, practices, and procedures is preferred

1 year of Knowledge of industry including suppliers, customers, and competitors is preferred

1 year of Knowledge of business performance measures is preferred

**EDUCATION**:
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required

Associate’s Degree or Equivalent is preferred

**SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills is required.
- Strong problem solving skills is required.
- Strong analytical skills is required.
- Strong computer skills is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills is required.

**Working Environment**:
**General Office** - Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.

Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time.
